When I create a pdf from a drawing file, the underline spacing increases and almost overlaps the text beneath it. I've attached two images. One is taken from Solidworks and the other is taken from the pdf. Anyone else having this issue?

It could be a font issue.

When creating the PDF, make sure you have the Embed fonts option selected.

Have you tried different PDF creators?

I looked into that Embed fonts options before and it is definitely selected.

I haven't tried any other pdf creators. I'm using the default one that comes with Solidworks. I've been using it for every version of Solidworks that's been available and this only started happening once we upgraded to 2008.

You are right. CutePDF and PDF995 does not alter the underline position or thickness.

SW must be using a different PS to PDF convertor.
