I have set up a tree view of a list of parts. What I would like to do is be able to highlight the part in the tree and be able to have a check box off to the side that would be checked or unchecked depending on the user input. Is there a way to associated a selected item in a treeview with a checkbox or inputbox?

you need to go into the properties for your treeview object and select the Custom property... you'll find what you're looking for in there. treeview is one of the worst documented controls around so you've done well to get this far
