Torque transmitted to a stop

I have a gear operator that transmits a torque to a stem nut. The stem which travels through the stem nut will have a stop at the end which will be pinned to the stem. All parts have stub acme thread.

My question is when the stop hits the rotating stem nut(stem and stop do not rotate) a torque will be transferred to the stop, but I don't know how much torque. The pin will have to be sized to take that torque. Torque on the stem nut and the thrust of the operator are known. There will be friction loss in the acme threads and between the stop and stem nut on contact.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
