Does anyone know of, or could recomend any commercially available gels or pastes that I could use to conduct teperature to the tip of a thermocouple that is inserted into a hole drilled in a refractory brick.
The gel/paste needs to be able to withstand upto 200 degs c and must not set solid as the thermocouples have to be removed periodically. It also has to be reasonably cheap as there are a lot of thermocouples that will require treating. I'm looking at buying it by the bucket load, not small tubes like the heat sink compounds used on pcb's.
