As many of you, my colleagues know, I am from Ohio (although born in Hoosierland). I am in TX now for holidays and have had the opportunity of watching a number of bowl games. The northern teams never seem to win. I am thoroughly disgusted with the Big 10. I am thinking that they should forego bowl games for the next 5 years and get their damn act together. Better no bowls than losing every (well, except for Iowa) one. Any thoughts? OHIO State losing last night - TARFU. How,when the opponent HAS to score a touchdown do you have all 11 players up within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage?? - especially the up front 7? This is beyond TARFU - it is FUBAR!!! (I'm not [bigsmile] as you can tell.

WIshed that we could force some bowl games up in Green Bay or Chicago or Cleveland/Buffalo on an outdoor field with -10 and wind. Then we can see how the FSU, LSU, USC can play the game! ARG...........

That Iowa game is a problem for me... suppose that I'll have to wear a bag over my head [blues] for the next year or so, since Iowa's opponent, my alma mater, USC (University of South Carolina [chicken]) would have been better off to have stayed home!

What does TAR stand for? Totally, Absolutely, and Royally..., which is not quite as bad as ...Beyond All Reason? [morning]

TARFU: Things are Really F*$&#d Up !! Usually one knows the SNAFU and FUBAR - TARFU is like, in the middle!

Am traveling today so may not be able to see the Okies beat Florida! Maybe I can get into a Sports Lounge at LAX.

Cheers to all.

Bringing Penn State in was supposed to help? I like the attitude of Joe P. Hope he stays on (alive). All those stars on the helmets of the opposition doesn't seem to make them any better players.

Too many bucks involved with the Big-10 and maybe others buying the players, but maybe its the southern food that makes them so good down there.

I was glad to see Ohio State finding out.

Hey Big-H, how's come we never see Cornell's scores listed with the weekly TV score summaries?

Oldest Guy - because we play in Division 1-AA! and have no scholarships! The bball team is doing well; played Wisconsin a bit back - don't know outcome but Cornell does may ESPN news when the scores are shown - more than I get in Asia. You do realize that Cornell vs Ohio State record is perfect 2-0. Would think OSU would like to play us again to at least show that they can't win against a certain school!!!

Way to go HARVARD for beating Boston College in bball after they had beaten #1 North Carolina!

BTW - our Project Manager is going to be insufferable with Florida beating Oklahoma! AAARRRRGGGGGGGGG

BigH:

I checked the UW-Madison basketball schedules for the last SEVEN YEARS and couldn't find a Badger vs Cornell basketball game! You must have meant the 2006 Badger vs Cornell HOCKEY game for the Midwest regionals? Yea, that's the game - Badgers win in the 3rd Overtime. Here's the proof:
Hope you are having a good flight back home, you must be some where over the Pacific as I write this.

BigH...fortunately the Okies didn't beat Florida (Go Gators)! Have a safe trip back home. Are you still on the dam(n) project?

Ron - I saw your game - Hope my boss settles down - and, yes, I'm on the damn dam project for the next three years (I hope - the contract is a good one!). Jim - I'll watch the site when I get home. Thanks
