I have a text box on a form that is formatted as currency. This text box actually shows the total for someother text boxes that get the data from the user. Since the total text box get updated through the code, AfterUpdate event is not triggerd. I need to do something when this control value has changed. Is there any event like beforeUpdate or AfterUpdate that get triggered when a textbox value is changed programatically?

Thanks.

You can generate this TotalTextBox.Value through the change event of each of the source textboxes. In each source textboxes change event, assign a new value to the TotalTextBox.Value. You would basically have the same piece of code for each textbox.

Now, you can raise an event trigger for the TotalTextBox in order to fire the AfterUpdate event. You need to look through the VBA help files for this one as I do not remember how this works.
