Hi everybody,
I have performed a transient thermal analysis of a part using the I-DEAS TMG module. After the simulation run, I managed to map the nodal temperature results onto another model (same part, but different FE-mesh). I would like to use the mapped temperature field as an input for a linear static analysis that gives me the thermal distortion and the thermal stresses in the part. The problem is, I can't find a way to define the mapped temperature field as boundary condition (sth. in the likes of a temperature field) for the linear static analysis. Can anybody help me out there? Any advice would be highly appreciated!
Thank you very much in advance,
Daniel
