Hi All,
I often search for large amounts of data, typically an entire system, 10,000 rows exported to excel.
Exporting the data is easy enough.
I then import it using Power Query, turn it into a useful search / reference index of many many attributes output from Teamcenter, it is extremely useful.
Using a lot of functionality in Excel through Power Query then filtering makes for a great tool.
The question:
- How to link my excel file to the data in Teamcenter instead of going through / using an exported file that is not "Static"?
Another example would be is if I perform a search and it returns over 1000+ items.
I then want to export a dynamic link for this data, so when it changes I can just refresh my Power Query search of the source data. This way I am assured of having the latest valid data.
Many thanks in advance how I resolve this and alternative ways to approach this.
Best Regards
