Tank sloshing

I'm not even sure what question to ask?
The customer has a large diameter water filled tank.
the seismic design has to include sloshing-convective and impulsive
used to determine the effective mass. These components will be combined with SRSS.
I have ASCE7-05 available to do the seismic analysis but don't see
any reference to the above requirements in the Code.

What equations in the ASCE Code relates to the convective and impulse (loads)?

Please consult API 650 or AWWA D100 for information on calculating sloshing loads.

So the terms apply to a field erected tank?
The tank in question is a 16 ft dia. vertical column supported
by a skirt. The tank is not flat bottom. It seems like
convective and impulse don't apply to a tank supported
by a skirt (not flat bottom). Do you have an opinion
about this?

Earthquakes don't care how the tank is designed or constructed, it will jiggle it anyway.

I dealt with a similar issue a few years ago. One of the references I obtained back then which ended up being quite helpful:

ACI 350.3-06 (but, there may be a newer version)

There was some pamphlet from PCI or PCA which was helpful as well. But, it looks like my colleague must have kept our copy.
