In a project client commented that the lugged vessel to be provide with tailing lug. I have not seen this before in a legged vessel. Can any body guide, how to check leg integrity while lifdting the vessel

I assume you have a tall vessel on legs. In order to prevent breaking the legs off when lifting from the transport tray to vertical position, you might need a tailing lug. Obviously, you'll have the legs cross braced for strength and particularly during the lift from horizontal to vertical position.

IMHO, the fabricator should either provide a tailing lug or the purchaser should insist upon calculations proving that the legs are acceptble for rigging.

For stubby tanks and vessels, this is a very easy thing to do.....

If the client insists on tailing lugs, juts install them
