Hello,
I'm working on design of 5 unheated T-hangar buildings with a total of 49 hangar spaces. International Building Code says we need a floor drain in each space. Past practice has been that drains aren't required in "storage" hangars, only in open bay multi-plane "maintenance" hangars. Also, floor drains in unheated space are problematic. I have a code reviewer who won't approve my plans unless I add drains. Is there written documentation somewhere that allows storage hangars without floor drains?
