Nov 2, 2007 #5 jackk Mechanical Nov 22, 2002 1,307 just read your second note about the eliptical profile: 1. use the SWEEP with Line profile to define the Law-based flat surface first to define the surface widths 2a. then use the SWEEP with Explicit profile to sweep your elliptical cross-section through the guide curves (the boundary curves of the flat surface) or, 2b. use the SWEEP with CONIC profile to define the elliptical surface based on the flat surface boundaries.
