Some other CAD vendors have followed Microsoft's lead with subscription licenses.
Has Siemens made any comments about them and if they plan on going in that direction?

I know Solid Edge is available on a subscription basis:


And I know it's been discussed for NX as well, but I don't know what the status of that proposal is.

Hi Ben,

As far as I know this was an option presented to me for both NX and Teamcenter at least a year ago. If your going to own for more than 4 years it is best to buy if I remember my calculations.
