I am curious if anyone has done some sublimation dyeing of polycarbonate sheets, and any details they can provide. I have had minimal success achieving results I want, and am curious to see what details I may be missing.

Details of my process(es)

I created a few pastes with both iDye Poly and some PROsperse dispere Dyes using proper technique for a thick paste for screen printing.
I then screen printed various release papers (used in the high pressure laminate industry) as well as release films (PET, and B.O.PP).
I then tried to press the screen printed release papers/film at various temps, pressures, and time up against the polcarbonate. I get a minimal transfer of the dye on a few polycarbonate sheets but not enough color.

If I try the dyes with boiling water and dipping the polycarbonate in the hot dye bath I get some real good color transfer, however, for the size of sheets I want to dye it is almost impossible to use this method compared to sublimation.

Any further information would be greatly appreciated.
