Hello,
First time poster.
My company is interested in analyzing the strain on a pipe that is welded to a flange. These pipes are on a vibratory system and see mostly bending stresses. After running some FEA it would be nice to verify my results using strain gages. I am interested in knowing what would be needed to successfully run a test with 3 rosette strain gages. It is also desired that the DAQ setup will work for accelerometers as well as strain gages for future use. We are trying to keep this purchase as cheap as possible while still acquiring some good results. Could anyone share some knowledge on what I would need for this setup?
