Std Threads - Perpendicularity of parts ???

For the right person this may be a simple question..... if you have a setscrew threaded into a part, using standard threads, nothing fancy,,, how far off, in degrees
(angle) can the axis of the setscrew be from the axis of the hole it is threaded into ?
I am working with 15mm( approx. 0.59 in) long M8 ( 0.315 in) setscrews.
Any help or references would be greatly appreciated.............
