Hey, I started a new job recently and for it I'd like to review and refresh my statics skills. I've been looking back through my statics book as a start, but wanted to know if there were any spreadsheets or software available for loading beams to determine moment and shear forces at an arbitrary point in a beam or to calculate the forces acting on bracket hardware attached to a beam with a single load applied?
I'd like to find something to help me check my work while I'm refreshing my skills and to help speed up the hand calculations in the furture.
