Can Delrin build enough of a static charge to discharge with a spark? Where can I get data to support the answer?

Under "normal" circumstances Delrin does not support a charge. Normal is the key word. What is the environment (dry, humid?), the material sliding against it, the sensitive device about which you are concerned. Is it a sensitive electrical device or in a process with a lower explosive limit condition to be concerned about? In other words will the static charge cause a problem if it occurred?
To be sure about your conditions call the suppliers; GE is the Delrin Supplier I believe.

Delrin is acetal (POM) of DuPont not GE.
DuPont has very good technical support in North America. You can call your local DuPont representative for assistance.
