Hi all,

My next assignment is to work with a client whose main area of work is pump design. As a CAD/Analysis engineer, I have mostly dealt with automotive structures and am not well versed with the nitty gritty of pump design. Could anyone recommend an online resource, articles or books which I can use to get acquainted with the area?

Thanks!

There is a book it's Cameron Hydraulic Data, it has good information on pumps to start with.

Assuming that it's centrifugal pumps, you might want to look for 'Centrifugal Pumps Design & Application' by Lobanoff and Ross (ISBN 0-87201-200-X for second ed).

Look for "Centrifugal and Axial Flow Pumps" from A. J. Stepanoff, 2nd edtion (1957).
