Hello,
My name is Victor Iñesta, from Barcelona. I’ve finished naval architecture last June. Since that I’ve been working in a little enterprise but I wish to find a job more focused in marine engineering or naval architecture, concretely I would prefer to join as apprentice of project manager, but it's just preference.
My intention was the following: Start working, learn as much as I could, invest in more formation, idioms, whatever... and in a few years, do a good master in Europe. I’ve sent lots of CV but no way, there isn’t job neither for apprentice in Spain.
My level of English is medium and it needs to be improved (I have the FIRST certificate level approx.), and I’ve thought that the best way is emigrate to the UK, perfect my English, get an IELTS 6.5, try to find job and whether I don’t get a good job, join in a MSc in the Strathclyde university.
I’ve thought in Strathclyde because my GPA is a 6.3 so that I can’t join in Delft or Southampton which demand a 7 or 7.5.
Is there any possibility to find job in Europe with a medium level of English?
I want to know what do you think about going to the UK, perfect English, and study a MSc in Strathclyde. Do you think it’s a good idea?
Do you think that in my case, with my English perfect, I could join an enterprise in the UK and start working, without the MSc? And in Europe?
Is there any country which offers good jobs and I could join right now? After learning English I’m disposed to learn other idioms also.
Is there any other option, as go to other countries or whatever?
Have you any other idea? I am very ignorant and there’s no people helping me so it’s being very difficult find out which is the best way I can choose.
I’m disposed to go everywhere, and do whatever it takes.
Thank you very much to waste your time with me.
Best wishes.
Victor Iñesta.
