What are the standard practices you follow in your company regarding Parts lists:

1. Parts list on drawing of every assembly even if it is going to be used as sub-assembly or only on main assembly?

2. Parts list in the drawing sheet or exclusively on a separate sheet.

Multiple companies over the years , multiple methods of doing BOMs.

Current company: Creo software
We put a single level BOM on every assembly drawing as we treat them as a complete unit.

Prior Company 1: Wildfire software
We only put inseparable components on the drawing sheet BOM.
Assembly level BOMs were created in Word and uploade to PDM software with the CAD files.

Prior Company 2: CADDS 4X
All BOMS were on separate sheets and tracked by the MRP system as we had no PLM at that time.
