Hi !!!

I'm new to STAAD and I'm analysing a Mat using plates. I've some queries...

1) Whether plate stresses SQX,SQY are One Way stresses or Two Stresses?

2) Whether SQX,SQY can be used for checking punching shear in a mat??? If not what is the best to check for punching shear using STAAD?
