we are designing closely spaced process columns for wind loading -
size of columns are Dia 3000mm x 30m height,
spaced at a distance of 5m between two cylindrical columns.

Is there any special consideration needs to be done for the close spacing under wind loading conditions?

If you point to a process column and ask a structural engineer what it is, they will call it a narrow tank. In the States, if the natural frequency is greater than 1 Hz (stiff), it is considered rigid, and there are no additional requirements. Otherwise, it is a mathematical nightmare that structural engineers aren't qualified for.

ASCE 7 29.4.2 Design Wind Loads: Circular Bins, Silos, and Tanks :(Grouped circular bins, silos, and tanks of
similar size with center-to-center spacing greater than two diameters shall be treated as isolated structures). In your case , the clear distance 5m, that is , center to center distance 8m .which is greater than 2D. You are expected to consider isolated structure.
