What Maintenance Patch are you using ST2 is not supported on Win 7 unless your running MP2.

I have it on Win7 64bit, installed as 64bit, MP2. I am also using Tcx, and the SEEC is giving me problems now. MP1 it worked fine. I can save files fine, but can't open them on a 32bit machine and vice versa. What problems are you having with part copy?

It says ST2 isn't supported on win7, is V20? I need to do some work @ home, and my home machine is Win7. Am I going to need to run XP compatibility mode?

You can only run XP compatibility mode in Win7 Pro and higher.
It is not available in Home version.

Where would we be without sat-nav?

MP2 adds support for Windows 7 in ST2. XP compatability mode will not work for SE.

Yeah, XP Compatibility Mode is actually virtualization:
XP Mode consists of the Virtual PC-based virtual environment and a fully licensed copy of Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (SP3).
I'm pretty sure it means an app running through XP Mode won't access the actual graphics card but rather an emulated one.

In effect, you are actually running an app on an OS (XP) over another OS (Win7). Might work for desktop apps, but not for MCAD.

I have V20 running just dandy on 7 now, thanks :)

Only issue is the installer locks when it gets to the "removing backup files" step.
