Soil Temperatures

Not sure if I'm in the correct forum, but I'm looking for references, formulas, or documentation for soil temperatures with respect to geographical location, type of soil, depth, ambient temperature, etc.

I have searched ASHRAE but no luck so far.

Try agricultural engineering sources. Soil temp is the primary factor in when to plant. They might have some guidance.
