Hi everyone,
I am doing my final year project in which I am using DEM to observe the degree of segregation occuring during sedimentation of various samples.
I also want to use fabric tensor to look at the anisotropy of the settled sample. Upon settling my sample is not cubic in shape but instead a cuboid. Does this matter or will this effect results? Surely if the sample is wider than it is high then there is a higher chance for contacts to be in the horizontal directions.
Thanks in advance!
