Has anyone in this forum had experience with the Daniel T. Li suite of spreadsheets?

We are considering purchasing a license but have not been able to find reviews on this spreadsheet based suite.

I personally am impressed with a couple of trial versions we have run, but would like to confirm if this is a serious offering or not? For our larger projects we run RISA and Midas, but for smaller isolated projects we would definitely purchase the Li product if legitimate. The problem is we cannot locate any reviews despite searching the web.

Would like to hear from anyone who has worked with this suite. This is not a ghost advertisement or teaser but a serious inquiry as to whether or not anyone in this forum can confirm these licenses are for a legitimate engineering resources.

I think my old company once purchased a copy of these spreadsheets. My impression is that this was an engineering firm that put a lot of effort into their internal spreadsheets. Therefore, they decided to sell them to other engineers as well.

My company didn't really end up using them at all by the time I got there. But, I did look through them. My impression is that they were impressive for an "in-house" spreadsheet built by a company. But, I didn't think they were good enough to compete with similar commercial software (Enercalc and such).

Two things in mind - documentation and support. A properly/adequately documented software will enable verification and updating functions.

I agree with JoshPlumSE, I have used a handful of these spreadsheets, namely the PT slab on grade in the past; with my new company we reached out to purchase select spreadsheets as 95% of those spreadsheets would be useless for us because of other software, we were told to go elsewhere as they will only sell as a full package now. I cannot speak for support as the versions my former employer had was a much older version which was definitely not supported.
