Hello everybody

Is anyone aware of documentation describing the criteria for choosing sleeve type bearings instead of roller or ball type (and vice versa) for applications such as pumps and motors?

The sleeve bearing is quieter in operation, but the roller type may be indicated for higher loads. If you have DV time, start with sleeve. There are various sleeve bearing materials to consider. Contact Keystone PM in St. Marys, PA.
