Select Optimized

Hello all!

Why is it when using select optimized, I get ratios that are MUCH less than 1.0? Some are even 0.6 and 0.7!

Even when adding the parameter "RATIO 1" ... I still get the exact same results. When I changed the parameter to "RATIO 0.5" the ratios from the reanalysis were still identical to the old analysis, with ratios in excess of 0.5! What's going on? Thanks

Is deflection governing? Sometimes you'll get small stress ratios when the deflection is nearing some point (say L/240).

No. I have not specified for a deflection check to take place unless it does it by default, does it?
