Greetings

We are trying to verify calculations, made to UBC-97 for a FRP water tank in Tunisia - to be built to BS4994:87 Cat I.

Greetings

Can anyone help with values: for FRP tank and factor R - ductility coefficient - from table 16-N?

Also, does factor W include tank contents (1630.1.1)?

And a suggested value for C(subscript t) for FRP tank?

Specification from purchaser requires "Total force V to be distributed over the height of the structure - in accordance with 1630.5": is that likely to be correct? or anchors and attachments only?

I would check API-650 as well as UBC. I believe a sloshing factor comes into effect. I believe W does include tank contents. Applying V over the height of the structure seems more like real world than just applying it all at the base.
