I'm organizing a conference for the National Association for Surface Finishers (NASF). The meeting is entitled "Surface Engineering for Energy Generation, Conservation, and Transmission." One of the sessions, not surprisingly, is on energy conservation, and we would like to have at least one tribologist addressing frictional losses. This would entail a 20-minute Power Point presentation and participation in a panel discussion.
This is a small meeting (100-125)attendees with four consecutive sessions. Attendees are mostly from industry and government. It will be held at the Shades of Green Resort in downtown Disney World in Orlando on the 20th and 21st of January, 2009.
