SE load files on WINDOWS XP

I find some problem when I load files (.par, .dft etc) in Solid Edge on Windos XP (I don't find this problem when I worked with the same SE release on Windows 2K). When I push on button Open (after selected the file) or double click on file, this file don't open but in solid edge appear the hourglass for about 30 seconds and after solid edge don't load the file. I must repeat the procedure above to load the file.
