SAP to SolidWorks connection

I am a consultant just starting a project at a new client. Client has SolidWorks connected to the Enterprise Vault. My task is to establish new connection between SAP and SolidWorks, so that SAP DMS becomes the new 'Vault' (Content and Cache servers are being installed). We plan to use SAP's CAD Desktop application (transaction). Does anyone have experience in establishing RFC connection between SAP and SolidWorks? Is going through Cideon my only option? I have left messages for Cideon to call me back. With or without Cideon, any experience in connecting SAP to SolidWorks would be most welcome. Thanks
