Hi,
I have just received a forging of SA-336 F22 CL 1 material with hardness limitations of 24-28 Rc. The mtr does not have any tensile or yield tests. Is this normal or is my AI going to eat me up over this? Also, the tempering temperature was 1100F while the specification (SA-336) states this material must be tempered at a minimum of 1250F. Do the hardness limitations negate this temperature, meaning it must be 1100F to meet the 24-28Rc?
Any information would be great.
