Oh I know sw is not a linux prog and also sw is not likely to be ported over which is a shame
This is purely for curiosity
Cheers

JuSt gotta figue out how to do that then ill let you know

Good luck. I've tried running other big Windows apps. under WINE, with no success.

I'd like to see the Linux community take a whole-hearted effort in modifying the kernel to easily install and run Windows apps, w/o having to monkey with WINE.

007bondy,

It takes a lot of work to get WINE working for big applications. You have to locate and install a lot of DLLs.

A graphically intense program like SolidWorks has got to be the worst thing you can run on anything other than a correctly configured version of the intended operating system.

I have tried running the executable Edrawings under Linux. It did not work
