Hi All

I've got the (100' Tan-Tan) vessel whose radiography is required to be RT-4. All the category A & B welds require spot X-ray except the bottom 30' that require full X-Ray. Setting summary of compress shows me RT-3 which i couldnot understand why. Any ideas???? Thanks

ok as I remember the RT-4 stamping....it is anything that is not rt-1 rt-2 or rt-4 and it needs to be clarified,

Did you put rt-3 in a settings or did you you fill in the required for fthe bottom 30 feet sections

sorry....i wrote in ""it is anything that is not rt-1 rt-2 or rt-4""

it should say ""it is anything that is not rt-1 rt-2 or RT-3""

Thanks Vesselfab

I have assigned 100% X-ray(both A & B category welds) for the bottom 30' and 80% X-ray for rest of the welds. And as to our understanding, compress should show RT-4 instead of RT-3 in setting summary.
