Dear All,

can we comply API 934-A requirements to "Pressure Vessels/Heat Exchangers" which are designed, fabricated, certified and documented in accordance with ASME Sec VIII Div.1.?

Scope of API 934-A emphasize only about equipment's which are manufactured in accordance with ASME Sec VIII Div.2.?

Please advise your answers with references (i.e. codes,Spec's and interpretations etc.)

As you mentioned, the scope of API 934-A states that it applies to Div.2. Anything else (including Div.1.) is out of scope. Claiming compliance to a non-applicable standard has questionable meaning and causes confusion.
