Hello All,
I am confused here. With the introduction of WF3, specifically Mechanica, PTC made it such that the rigid connections were only available with an advanced Mechanica license. This was not the case in WF2. In fact, the transition to move the rigid connections into an advanced license caused some problems were old Mechanica models created in WF2 that had rigid connections could not be opened at all in WF3.
However, tonight I loaded WF3 M130 and I can use rigid connections! I only have a basic license, so I am now completely confused. PTC knowledge base has both a SPR and a TAN regarding the advanced license issue and it makes reference to a pdf file that talks about how rigid connections were moving to the advanced license. Here is the name of the pdf: "DS-Adv_Mechanica_1724_FINAL_Apr06.pdf", but I cannot seem to find it on PTC's site anywhere.
Am I just losing my mind or what here?
Thanks for any help,
Steve
