It seems there's some setting off in our configuration that causes results to be off by a scale of 35. I could probably track down an error of 32.2 or 9.8, or some reasonable constant, but don't know where to look for 35.

Has anybody ever seen this and how do I fix it?

ps. sorry if I'm asking a previously answered question. I tried searching the forum but it seems the search function is acting up and I get no results for anything I search for.

Hello TG,

First check your units in ProE. Many people forget that the default unit system is in lbm, not lbf.

Next check your modulus and load values. Someone could have accidientally fat fingered a number and either added or left off a zero.

Other than that would require some more investigation. The two issues I mentioned above are the most common reasons users have incorrectly scaled results.

Good Luck,

Steve

Thanks. I'll double check and let you know if that's it.
