my problem is the following...

i would like to perform a formula auto fill without specifying the absolute range value.
that is, i would like to specify the range relative to the current active cell's position.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Example Below:

Selection.AutoFill Destination:=Range("C1:C20"), Type:=xlFillDefault

*Replace "C1:C20" with a range relative to current active cell position.....

Recommended for you

Replace Range("C1:C20") by Range(ActiveCell.Offset(a,b),ActiveCell.Offset(c,d))
where you replace a,b,c,d with the offset you want from the active cell, for example:
Range(ActiveCell.Offset(1,0),ActiveCell.Offset(10,0))
gives you a range of 10 cells high, 1 column wide, just below the active cell. Also refer to the Help file on the Range object.

Cheers,
Joerd
