Does anyone have a recommendation for a good reference regarding the various types of pressure regulators? I have collected info over the years, but nothing really substantial like a good reference book. Something that discusses types and various applications would be great.

Thanks for the help.

i think the "valve handbook" by mcgraw-hill publishing has an extensive chapter on regulators.

Fred:

I believe if you go to:

you will find all the information that is pertinent to the design and operation of pressure regulators - be they liquid or gas. You can use the Model index or the application index to zero in on the particular models you have in mind. Fisher was one of the first -if not the first- in making pressure regulators a common flow instrument in the process field and they have converted a lot of the information that was stored in their famous catalogs and brochures into more manageable Internet information retrival. I still have my regulator catalogs, but unfortunately I can't share them with you.

I think you'll find all you need there.

Thanks for the references guys.

Thanks Art. You know...I have the Fisher references. I forgot all about it. I guess I have collected so much stuff, I have forgotten about what I do have.

If anyone has any other references, I'd appreciate hearing about them.
