Could anyone help, I have a question regarding the installation of Screwed and Socket-welded Unions. I have ran across some unions installed wrong. I can't find anything documenting that the nut should be on the flow side, I know this is probably "rule of thumb". Can anyone point me in the direction to find documents supporting this. Thanks in advance for any help.
