Real Time Power Flow/system control innovation

Hey folks, I don't know how many read Electricity Today, but they hvae an interesting article in Issue 6- EleQuant has developed a new Power Flow/Real time system called Agora that uses a new, NON-ITERATIVE power flow algorithm, which supposedly beats Newton-Raphson hands down. Unfortunately, becuase everything is patent-pending, they will not reveal the details of the algorithm yet. You can read about it at

This has the potential to revolutionize real-time power systems becuase it never produces incorrect or spurious solutions.
