Hello,

Does anyone have any suggestions for any raster-to-vector conversion software.

What I'm trying to do is take old pencil drawings, scan them, and create an autocad file w/ them so they can be edited. Thanks for any responses.

Unless the software on the market has changed drastically since I looked into this issue, you're out of luck.
Reason being when the sketch is scanned it is raster, meaning pixels, not lines and circles but just dots.

Therefore editing would take far more time than drawing it in Cad from the sketch.

If your scanning software will convert to a Corel Draw file, I have heard that you can then save as a .dxf, then by inserting into a Cad program you might have something to work with.

Dude,
Here are some previous post on that subject.
Best of luck [thumbsup]
