I am starting to size pump stations for developments I am working on. I am wondering if anyone has or knows of a free program that can give me a rough pump sizing.

I would need to see the relevant curves but nothing to stick my life to just something for a quick calculations. I am in Australia so it would need to be metric.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Hi RJL,

I am assuming that these are sewage pump stations ?

Most of the pump manufacturers with a sales presence in Australia will have a CD ROM pump selection programme (eg, ITT, KSB, ABS, Hidrostal, Grundfos, EOne (?) etc).

What are you looking for when you make your pump selection, low capital cost (price driven) or low whole of life costs (high efficiency, non-clog operation, etc) ?

Cheers,

Berko

i am not sure about web resources, but if you contact your local ABS, GRUNDFOS of FLYGT supplier, they can provide you with CD rom.

these are the ones I have. All programes are easy to use and cover vide range of applications.
