Problem with dialogue boxes V8XM

I have installed V8XM and I am having a problem with my dialogue boxes. They are opening very small ( small enough I cannot use them ) and I cannot make them any bigger. I have tried to stretch them bigger but that does not work. As a result I am unable to use this version of MS because of this problem. Does anybody have an idea of what the problem is? Is there a setting I am missing?
