Pressurization - consistent in models with different material props?

Hello all,

I am modelling a single pressure vessel, looking at different materials and wall thickness. I'd like to pressurise the vessel to a specific pressure in the first step and carry out an analysis in subsequent steps. Using the fluid surface cavity approach, I'm aware of two methods of adding pressure - the "fluid inflater", specified with a mass flow rate and time increments, and the initial fluid pressure, specified before the step with a single value. Both run on the same fluid definitions.

In the latter, the initial pressure specified is applied but it decreases as the cavity volume increases in response to the instant pressure. In the former, a different version of the same problem occurs. Using the same inflation method, the equilibrium pressure (and volume) of the cavity is different if the wall stiffness is different.

I'm looking for a single "inflation" method that will pressurise to a given pressure, taking the deformation of the cavity into account. I hope it doesn't require a control loop :).

An exaggerated example might be a car tire in cold and hot temperatures. I would want to inflate it to X psi. When the rubber is cold and stiff, it will take less air to reach a pressure than it would if the tire were warm and flexible.
