Hi all,
We are using a recycling plant to recycle plastic bags (LDPE)
These bags were used to store and transport H2SO4.
While transportation H2SO4 fell from the containers and dried on LDPE bags.
We washed those bags but even then some particals remained stick there, which we considered as minors.
Problem came while heating our operators smelled the odour of H2SO4 as on heating it is turning into gaseous state and are damaging the heating element of the boiler, the grains are also not of fine quality as while molding the smell of H2SO4 felt again...
My question; is there any cost effective chemical to be used in washing to remove H2SO4 particals completely, or is there any process that we should apply on and get fine quality of grains....????

Thanks,
