Hello,
I know you can't run water or waste piping in or through electrical rooms with some sort of drip pan or soffit, but can anyone tell me which code covers this? I've tried looking through the IPC '97 and IMC '98, but can't find anything (maybe it's there and I'm just missing it?). I do not have a copy of the NEC, so I can't check that.
Also, how does this code pertain to hydronic piping? I've got prints showing a hot water unit heater and the piping which feeds the unit heater and continues through the room to feed some fin tube that I'm concerned about.
If it matters, I'm located in Connecticut.
Thank You Much,
Eric
