I have two questions about the PhotoRender Add-on.
The first deals with Alibre vs Alibre Pro. Alibre Pro comes with Photorender, FEA, and CAM. I don't need the FEA or CAM. Well, I do but I don't want Algor or VisualMill so there is no reason to pay for it. Based on the Alibre website, it appears that I can buy Photorender separately, but it gives no price. Can someone verify that I can buy this add-on separately and what the price of the add-on is?
The second deals with LightWorks.
To my understanding, Lightworks is OpenGL based rendering, not DirectX like Alibre. Is this true? If so, that makes the determination if I should save on the graphics card by going consumer level or if I should pay for the CAD level card.
